Great rehearsal...please consider what was mentioned in class. All of you need to post a comment about what you saw that needs to be improved and what was good (constructive criticism :)) by 8:30 tomorrow morning. I won't be back at a computer until LATE so I didn't want to have NOTHING here. Most of the notes were covered in class.

Stay in character
Think about what your character is like...add stage business based on that knowledge.
Slow down and listen to eachother and react accordingly
Thank you for working so hard...NO SCRIPTS for Act 1 tomorrow.
we ALL (myself super included) need to work on blocking. and i think everyone did an awesome job at the end of Act I. that scene is my favorite :)

April, we need to figure out how you're going to be laying on the couch at the end of Act I so I don't accidently end up sitting on your face or something. haha!

I completely agree with what you had to say Beth, I have been out for a couple days and the days I was out I completely missed my lines. I think I need to be more believable and also be more aggressive, I think If I can make my character more believable it will help out a lot. I thought Act 1 did really great yesterday, can't wait to see what we can do today.
ReplyDeleteI was very proud of us today, we had some mix-ups but it was our first day without script. I think if we had run it one more time we would have been dead on!
