Curtis check cue on returning to the stage
Alice continue to swoon over Ken being home...so proud
Mayson NO GUM!
Jared - Oh Helen...make sure you cheat out...even though you are moving upstage
Play to the audience - not just to the actors on the stage - it opens up the performance
LOUDER!
CE- great facial expression
JD - when you find out that Monica is next door...don't look L/R...just be shocked!
While CE is on the phone...find something else to do (magazine, etc) and then react to the MM line
April - sleeping porch line...more laughter...almost get tickled and then leave. (obnoxious laugh?)
EVERYONE WORK ON LINES JUST TO FIRM THEM UP! :) You guys are doing great.
Jason - relax a little...you seem like you are waiting for Jean to talk. Really listen and then react as Tim.
Tim - don't look upstairs before Alice speaks. "Illustion of the 1st time" is key in comedy
CE - be overly sweet when talking to Ed and then when he tells you he will scream seem sad...or at least react
Jared before exiting after Alice tells you about the simple, etc. Think about it and then say/ad lib...something about being hungry, mom's cooking, etc.
Monica Marshall discovery - has to be quicker and then once everyone is in...stay in character. Amazed, annoyed, excited.
April...wait for ES to scream and then say the lamb line
blackout should be fast! (start of scene fade but end blank)

Act 2, Scene 1
Jared you can't anticipate April's response...don't turn your head toward her until after she speaks.
Ed react to her line about remembering big
April - louder
Jared - baby sister all grown up...exit the other direction (go U between Ed's chair and the sofa then to the stairs)
Jason...react to the question about the bathroom...that is a strange question.
CHECK LINES!
Enunciate
Jean and Tim need to have some sort of stage business as Alice comes in
Alice - get a little weepy about your daughter growing up (blow your nose?!?)
REACT when Helen walks in (Jean and Tim)
Jared - great "eye" reaction to Helen. :)
Curtis - check entrances. Timing is very important in a comedy
April - think of stage business (eating, reading, cutting your fingetnails)
April - weird hand placement on Jared...she's only "nutty about you."
Let Ken leave and then mess with your suitcase stuff and then start dancing
After ES "never to leave her side again"...ad lib until Ken appears
Ken - don't wink until after the Pomegranate line - or just the thumbs up is OK too.

Act 2, Scene 2
ES - your line is
Jared when you propose you have to set up downstage or side but not BTA (back to audience)
Jason - do NOT let Jean block you...come in at an angle. - Tim and Jean have to react to what's happening with Ken. (you guys think this is the "SCOOP"
Jean - you come back out onto the stairs to evesdrop - you have to HEAR what's happening to spread the scoop
Ken and MM have to be off stage and Jean has to run past as Ed enters (that's why he says the family is eccentric)
Boggs - don't cross your legs
April - warmer than its been in years...louder
Grant watch so that you cut off before/as April turns off the TV
ES you can't miss that entrance
ES "daddy" is too fast...slow it down
Ken - cheat out on "you tell 'em
Sam - you are a miliary guy! Confident - loud!
Jean - on stairs for "married to my brother"
WEIRD BLOCKING AT THE END - please check your script - too many people stage R

Great run thru! NEXT WEEK WE WILL HAVE SOME PROPS AND CLEAN IT UP!

I will pull what costumes we have for you and everyone will get their costume list on Monday - I will adjust the final costume check date to Thursday.
