FULL RUN THROUGH NOTES

We did it! Great job today at rehearsal! I am so proud of each of you! We still have work today BUT you did great today! Below are all the notes. Please read them carefully.
Act 1:


  • there will be music to start the show

  • Kayla - pause between first "inferiority" and "lack of confidence" - like you are thinking about it.

  • Foster - freeze your eyes

  • less stomping on the opening number

  • Taylor - "you are kind" needs to be louder

  • Good-uh man - browN - we need to really understand these words

  • Lucy - smile at the opening

  • Melody loved you skipping to your spot, very kid-like

  • Charlie Brown at the very end...move your hand. :)

  • At the end of You're a Good Man go ahead and set for lunchtime and freeze - entrance is strange

  • CB Check lines on lunchtime monologue - really emphasize "stupid" things I did...

  • CB keep your head up.

  • Lucy you need something to write with during lunchtime

  • Don't leave until the lights go out!

  • Lucy- much improved on Schroeder song - nice tone and volume - A little more energy with hands...not just settled in your lap - look at the audience a little more - Slow down ending punchline

  • Boggs check ALL light cues

  • Snoopy - you are swaying side to side when you sing...plant your feet

  • CB - flap my arms - slower on the punchline

  • Liz - don't cover your mouth

  • Taylor - LOUD even if your character is thinking...loud

  • People waiting in the wings...I can see you! (CB and birds)

  • Check to make sure the curtains are closed

  • Check entrances - Everyone!

  • blanket wrestle...your feet are TOO loud

  • Blanket and Me - Yippee! Looks great

  • work on the dance. We need to run it for real - everytime!

  • Boggs - great job

  • Kelsey LOVED the Intro #2 - good stage business

  • Queendom, much improvedMatt check your line right before 5 fingers (you are missing the cue that makes Lucy's line make sense)

  • Lucy I need to see all 5 fingers before they curl up - slow down "fighting force..."

  • Mel - hilarious stage business during classroom with pencil

  • Coathanger - slow down a bit especially on punchlines. Great facial expressions and changing emotions

  • Kite - Thomas great job with motions and emotions. Play to the audience a little more and double check words - you don't need to let out so much string. :)

  • Boggs check mic volume on the echo - backstage people...don't react if it's loud

  • "nothing echos" slow down and louder#10 - Mel move UC to the platform, Snoopy be on your doghouse at R, and Linus and CB be DL - everyone freeze until your lights come up and freeze when they come down...all exit at the same time after Snoopy's line

  • Jessi - loved you pointing to Snoopy's shirt as he enters with the Beethoven t-shirt

  • lights slower on the end of a group # we want the audience to get to applaud without being cut off

  • Doctor is In - Lucy emphasize the words "admit" and "wrong"

  • Jazz hands need electricity

  • Rabbit chasing - stretch L to R and not Down to Up. Exit singing Chasing Rabbits, Chasing Rabbits DR to UL (lights out and CB gets set UC...lights up then CB will talk about being depressed) cross UL to UR with Sally (lights out CB leaves and Lucy and Schroeder set up just DR, lights up) Lucy and Schroeder talk about pic - cross UR to DL (lights out, Lucy and Sch leave CB and Marcie set up L of C, lights up) they talk about tomorrow not being a better day. (lights out...everyone comes out for book report, lights up) cross DL to DR. EVERYTIME YOU CROSS...sing Chasing Rabbits, Chasing Rabbits...

  • CB - where is your pencil and notebook for Book Report...don't forget it.

  • Lucy sing a little faster at the beginning to pull the tempo faster and much better volume on the vegetable list

  • Linus louder on Flopsy, Mopsy

  • Love the jumprope...especially on book report in the net!

  • Teacher - walk thru with grade book

  • Taylor louder on the beginning

  • The audience will probably clap at the end of book report - hold for applause and then come out nice and loud Brittany Owens with the Snoopy line (I might move those last 3 lines to right before Book Report...I am going to ponder that!)

Act 2:



  • Caitlyn - "Help me" big arms and grab head - scream...look back and scream again and then go

  • Bench manager - much better Kelsey :)

  • Dear Pen Pal - must be louder

  • CB - baseball game - pitch the ball and see it being hit before pointing to Lucy

  • Lucy - talk slower and louder when team is singing behind you

  • When team exits the stage...be quiet so that the audience can hear the pen pal part at the end

  • quiet back stage!

  • Socrates - Lucy - emphasize "she"

  • Crabbiness survey - Snoopy you can be sleeping, etc. Rasberry at the end...LONGER!

  • Sally - slow down lines on the crabbiness survey

  • Lucy- check lines on A, B, or C...what'll it be Charlie Brown...A, B, or C!

  • Lucy (I know you want to hear this) bigger slug of Linus and then wait for the laughter...then smile...it's a woman's perogative

  • Lucy slow down the conclusion

  • Classroom scene - freeze high.

  • April louder "please don't call on me" - think little old lady on the back row

  • Jessi - after you say "chlorophyll" and smile big...face the audience and freeze until lights go out!

  • Snoopy - slow down "stuck with tingling teeth"

  • Kayla - nice job seeing the bird on Little Known facts...he flew right over to you. :)

  • Suppertime - dance was much better! Work on the very beginning pitch - if you start on the right note...you'll stay there. Taylor - if you can put the beginning of Suppertime on noteflight that would be awesome! Measure 4 - 49

  • Happiness - Melody sit or kneel

  • All solos...add your own hand motions for your particular solo!

  • Snoopy kneel in front of the principles...think Christmas card pic!

  • Great job! We did it!

I would like to see ALL costumes by Tuesday! Remember you will go to 2nd period 1st on Monday.
